Electronic Products Industry

With over 26 years of experience and more than 30,000 test systems supplied worldwide, ITM-LAB is a global leader in the materials testing industry. For more than a decade, we have been working with top innovators in the consumer electronics industry to meet the testing challenges brought by new technologies, such as longer-lasting and faster-charging batteries; innovative displays that can bend and fold; devices with increasing touch capabilities; high-density packaging for increased portability, and more. As part of this collaboration, we have designed our test systems with flexibility in mind, making our systems more easily adaptable to the testing of cutting-edge technologies in the coming years.

ITM-LAB Solutions
ITM-LAB offers a full range of electromechanical universal testing systems to meet the low- to medium-force testing needs of electronics and microelectronics manufacturers. The 68SC single-column system can test forces as low as 0.02 N to 5 kN, while the 68TM dual-column system has a test range of up to 50 kN. Each of these systems can be equipped with a variety of accessories to perform tension, compression, flexure, peel, and shear tests. ITM-LAB’s Engineering Solutions group can also develop custom grips to accommodate unusual sample shapes and sizes. Dual-column test frames are available in custom widths and can be equipped with heated and cooled chambers for temperature testing.

Grips and Fixtures
For tensile, compression, flexure, peel and shear testing
Adaptability is key when testing electronics and microelectronics, which often come in a wide variety of sizes and geometries that are constantly changing as technology and consumer preferences continue to evolve. Compatible with a wide range of grips, fixtures and system accessories, ITM-LAB systems are ideal for testing the mechanical properties of these products and can easily accommodate custom fixtures.

Automation
Increasing Efficiency in High-Volume Testing
Managing high-volume testing can be made easier by incorporating some level of automation. This can include everything from automated sample measurement equipment to automated XY stages and fully automated robotic test systems. Our team of experienced automation engineers will work with you to develop a system that meets your throughput requirements.

Temperature Testing
Control and Monitor Your Test Environment
Many electronic products, including microelectronics and batteries, are subject to extreme temperatures during use. Manufacturers must understand the performance and safety factors under a variety of conditions. Environmental chambers allow you to test the mechanical properties of materials and products in a temperature range of -100°C to +350°C. These chambers are controllable in Bluehill Universal and offer fast heating and cooling times to increase production.

Transferable Test Methods
For consistent testing across multiple sites
Whether your testing is performed in a single lab or across hundreds of locations in a global supply chain, consistency is key. Bluehill Universal software allows you to create test methods on any system and easily share them with other test systems or labs performing similar tests - giving you more control and confidence in your testing process.

Tension, Compression and Flexure
Universal Test Systems
ITM-LAB benchtop universal testing machines can perform tension, compression, flexure, peel, shear and other mechanical tests on materials, components and products in accordance with ASTM, ISO and other industry standards.

Fatigue and Lifespan
Key Systems
ITM-LAB uses professional equipment and advanced technology to test every key on the keyboard in detail, including key response speed, force, accuracy and other indicators. The use of automated testing processes greatly improves test efficiency while ensuring the objectivity and reliability of test results. With the help of data analysis and statistics, potential problems can be discovered in a timely manner, providing a strong basis for the optimization and improvement of the keyboard, thereby ensuring that the keyboard can have excellent performance in various usage scenarios
