The RS-8225 Tape Holding Force Tester accurately evaluates the adhesive holding strength of tapes by measuring sliding distance or failure time under constant load, compliant with JIS Z0237 and GB/T 4851 standards.
The RS-8225 Tape Holding Force Tester is specifically designed to assess the holding power of adhesive tapes. During testing, the tape is applied onto a stainless steel test plate, rolled back and forth three times with a roller, then rested for 20 minutes. A 1 kg weight is then hung from the tape, and the time until sliding or detachment is recorded, or the sliding distance is measured, to determine the tape’s adhesive retention performance.
Available in two versions—5-position (RS-8225-5) and 10-position (RS-8225-10)—this tester allows simultaneous testing of multiple samples, greatly improving test efficiency. It features adjustable timer settings and precise construction for repeatable, reliable results.
